Benefits Of Vaccinations

At Sugar Land Physicians, we believe that it is best to update your vaccinations. Some of the reasons include:

  • If you are vaccinated, you will be more likely to be immune to certain diseases. If you do end up catching the disease, it will be milder and less threatening.
  • Getting a vaccine will cost much less than getting treated in the hospital for a disease that could have been prevented.
  • Vaccination provides protection for others in the community because you will not spread diseases.
  • Vaccination could potentially eliminate certain diseases altogether. If everyone has the vaccination and is unable to contract the disease and pass it along, it won’t be a problem anymore and the vaccine might not be needed in the future.

A $19 administration fee will be added to an immunization visit. Most health insurance plans cover the cost of vaccines, however you may want to check with your insurance provider before seeing a Sugar Land Physicians clinician.
Travel vaccinations require a $75 medical visit.
